Łukasiewicz Research Network – Industrial Automotive Institute is a research institute co-founding the third largest research network in Europe. The object of the Institute’s activities is to conduct scientific research and development work in the automotive field.

 

Job Description:

  • development of software for image processing and analysis
  • building, training and testing machine models for vision systems • programming in Python/C++,
  • creating documentation of IT systems,
  • participation in the implementation of R+D projects related to automated vehicles and mobile robots

 

Requirements

  • University education
  • 1 year of experience in the R&D industry
  • Good knowledge of issues related to image processing and analysis
  • Good knowledge of C++ and/or Python programming languages
  • Good knowledge of Linux
  • Knowledge of libraries for training neural networks, i.e. TensorFlow/PyTorch
  • Good knowledge of ROS robot programming environment
  • Knowledge of OpenCV library, numpy, pandas, scikit-learn
  • Knowledge of English at a minimum B2 level
  • Willingness to take on unusual technical challenges
  • Ability to work in a team, communication skills, commitment,
  • Interest in modern technologies in automotive and robotics
  • Experience in using GIT

  • Participation in projects, conducted in accordance with SCRUM methodology

Data Protection Officer The Administrator has appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted on matters related to personal data protection in writing via e-mail at: iod@pimot.lukasiewicz.gov.pl or by postal mail by writing to the Administrator’s registered office address with the notation “Personal Data”.

Objectives and grounds for processing The purpose of processing is to carry out the recruitment process, including the establishment of contact at the stage of conducting this process and the establishment of an employment relationship in the event of its successful completion, as well as the archiving of documents after the recruitment process in accordance with in accordance with the requirements of generally applicable law.

Grounds for processing:
(a) Article 6(1)(b) of the RODO, conclusion of an employment contract;
(b) Article 221 of the Labor Code and the Law on National Archive Resources and Archives in conjunction with Article 6(1)(c) of the RODO;
(c) Article 6(1)(a) and Article 9(2)(a) of the RODO – consent;
(d) Article 6(1)(f) RODO – legitimate interest of the administrator to defend against potential claims.

Recipients of data Personal data may be transferred to the following recipients of data in the scope of: realization of the service of shredding and archiving of documentation; services supplying the Łukasiewicz Center with technical and organizational solutions ensuring efficient management (in particular, ICT service providers, equipment suppliers, courier and postal companies).

Duration of personal data processing Personal data will be kept for the period of recruitment and for 3 years until the expiration of the statute of limitations for potential claims. If a job candidate agrees to have his personal data processed in future recruitments, the personal data will be kept for 9 months.

Rights of individuals Each person has the right to request access to their data, rectification, deletion, portability, restriction of processing, to object to processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection. 

To the extent that the basis for processing is consent given under the provisions of the RODO – the right to withdraw consent. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the processing that was carried out before its withdrawal.

Provision of data Provision of personal data to the extent indicated by the provisions of the Labor Code is necessary to participate in the recruitment procedure. Provision of other data is voluntary.
