In connection with the 4th Scientific and Technical Conference “AUTONOMIC VEHICLES – challenges and opportunities for the economy and state defense”, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Article 13 paragraphs 1 and 2), we are providing the following information.
Administrator
The data controller is the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Automotive Industry Institute, with its registered office in Warsaw at 55 Jagiellońska Street, 03-301 Warsaw. You can contact the controller in writing at the registered office address or by email at: Instytutu@pimot.lukasiewicz.gov.pl.
Data Protection Officer
The Controller has appointed a Data Protection Supervisor who can be contacted in matters relating to the protection of personal data in writing via e-mail at the following address: iod@pimot.lukasiewicz.gov.pl or by traditional mail to the address of the Controller’s registered office with the note “Personal data”.
Purposes and Legal Basis for Processing
Personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
a) registration and participation in the conference – Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – performance of a contract;
b) communication between the organizer and participants – Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – the controller’s legitimate interest;
c) accounting and tax settlements – Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR – legal obligation;
d) publication of participants’ images – Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR – consent;
e) pursuing potential claims or defending against claims – Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – the controller’s legitimate interest.
Data recipients
Data may be transferred to:
• co-organizers,
• IT, accounting, and legal service providers,
• photographers and event service providers,
• entities authorized by law.
Transfer of Data Outside the EU/EEA
Personal data will not be transferred to third countries.
Data Retention Period
The data will be retained:
• for the duration of the contract and the event,
• thereafter, in accordance with tax and accounting regulations,
• in the case of claims—until they become time-barred,
• data processed on the basis of consent—until such consent is withdrawn.
Rights of the data subject
Every person has the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, transfer, object, and withdraw consent at any time. Additionally, they have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
Information on the Requirement to Provide Data
Providing the data marked as required is necessary to participate in the conference. Providing the remaining data is voluntary.
