4th Scientific and Technical Conference: “Autonomous Vehicles—Challenges and Opportunities for the Economy and National Defense”
On November 18–19, 2026, the Holiday Inn Resort Warsaw–Józefów will host the 4th Scientific and Technical Conference “Autonomous Vehicles—Challenges and Opportunities for the Economy and National Defense” — an international event dedicated to the development of autonomous technologies, modern mobility, and their applications in the civilian and defense sectors.
The conference is organized by the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Industrial Automotive Institute in cooperation with the Military Institute of Armored,
, and Automotive Technology.
The conference serves as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience among representatives of public administration, research institutes, universities, industry, and the defense sector from Poland and abroad. The event’s program includes expert presentations, academic sessions, demonstrations of innovative technologies, autonomous vehicle demonstrations, and an exhibition area.
The conference topics include:
- unmanned autonomous platforms—vehicles and systems for civilian and military applications;
- simulation and experimental research on automated and autonomous vehicles;
- artificial intelligence in the automation of vehicles and their systems;
- perception and sensory fusion systems in automated vehicles;
- navigation, control, and communication systems for automated vehicles;
- Legal and socio-ethical aspects of transportation automation.
The conference is aimed at representatives from the worlds of academia, industry, public administration, and agencies responsible for national security. It is an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, establish new contacts, and learn about the latest developments in the field of autonomous transportation systems.
