Commercialization, or technology transfer, in the case of research and development units includes activities related to the transformation of knowledge into new products, technologies and organizational solutions. Technology transfer can involve both research results and innovative products and services. The purpose of commercialization is to make the rights to the results of this research available to entrepreneurs.
