The laboratory conducts tests on vehicles and their electronic and electrical components in the field:
- Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC):
– radiated and conducted phenomena (UN Regulation 10, CISPR, ISO 11451/11452, ISO 7637, IEC 61000 series, NO-06-A200/A500, MIL-STD-461F/G),
– electrostatic discharge immunity (ISO 10605),
- Electrical safety (UN Regulation 100),
- security devices, among others. alarms and immobilizers (UN Regulations 97, 116),
- environmental tests (resistance to vibration and shock, temperature cycles) and evaluation of the degree of protection of the housing (IP code),
- noise of warning devices of emergency vehicles,
- Special vehicle bodies – bank cars, armored vehicles, ambulances.
Key research positions:
- EMC test stands:
– SAC (Semi-Anechoic Chamber) type EMC chamber for testing complete vehicles and electrical and electronic components with the possibility of measurement from a distance of 10 m,
– SURGE, BURST type pulse immunity test stand,
– harmonic emission and flicker measurement stand,
– GTEM chamber for EMC testing of electronic and electrical components, environmental test stands:
– vibration inductor,
– temperature chamber having the possibility of cooperation with vibration inductor.

Key measurement and testing equipment:
- Measurement systems for noise and vibration testing,
- Measurement receiver for electromagnetic compatibility testing of conducted and radiated emissions,
- A set of generators and amplifiers for electromagnetic compatibility testing of conducted and radiated immunity,
- ESD generator,
- A set of sensors for environmental testing,
- spectrum analyzer.
Authorizations and certifications
The laboratory conducts tests in accordance with the documents presented in the scope of accreditation issued by the Polish Accreditation Center and in the scope of OiB accreditation (accreditation by the Minister of National Defense).
In addition, within the framework of the powers granted, the laboratory offers testing services in the field:
The laboratory is authorized by the Director of Transport Technical Supervision to conduct approval tests for compliance with the following legal acts:
- UN Regulation 10 – “Uniform provisions concerning the approval of vehicles with regard to electromagnetic compatibility”,
- UN Regulation No. 18 – “Uniform provisions concerning the approval of vehicles with regard to protection against unauthorized use.”
- UN Regulation 28 – Uniform provisions concerning the approval of audible warning devices and motor vehicles with regard to audible signals.”
- UN Regulation 59 – “Uniform provisions concerning the approval of replacement damping systems”,
- UN Regulation 62 – “Uniform provisions concerning the approval of motor vehicles with bicycle-type handlebars with regard to protection against unauthorized use.”
- UN Regulation No. 97 – “Uniform Provisions Concerning the Approval of Vehicle and Automotive Alarm Systems (AS).”
- UN Regulation No. 100 – “Uniform provisions concerning the approval of vehicles with regard to specific requirements for the electric power train”,
- UN Regulation 116 – “Uniform Technical Regulations for Securing Motor Vehicles against Unauthorized Use.”
