ACCREDITATIONS (PCA)

The Łukasiewicz Research Network – Automotive Industry Institute has for many years demonstrated its technical expertise by maintaining accreditations issued in accordance with internationally recognised standards, such as:

AB 082 – Laboratory Complex

AK 021 – Inspection Body – Type Approval Section

AC 215 – Management Systems Certification Body

AC 001 – Product Certification Body

DESIGNATIONS (issued for us by the type-approval authorities)

Curently we cooperate with the following the approval authorities:

TDT (Polish Approval Authority),
CSDD and STC (Latvian Approval Authority).

Łukasiewicz-PIMOT is a technical service authorised (designated) for:
– carry out UN and EU type-approval tests regarding to the systems, components and separate technical units (STU)
– carry out EU type-approval of vehicles under Regulations (EU) 2018/858, 167/2013 and 168/2013
– carry out type-approval tests of vehicles under the national type-approval procedure in accordance with the relevant national regulatory act,
– caary out the tests of vehicle for the purposes of EU individual vehicle approval in accordance with Article 44 of Regulation (EU) 2018/858
– carry out the tests of vehicle for national individual vehicle approval in accordance with Article 45 of Regulation (EU) 2018/858.

We also carry out production conformity checks required under the type-approval procedure.

In accordance with the requirements of the type-approval authority, we are obliged to comply with the requirements set out in the agreement and specified in the applicable legislation

ACCREDITATIONS FOR DEFENCE

Łukasiewicz-PIMOT participates in the product evaluation referred to in the Act on the System of Evaluation of the Products Intended for State Security and Defences and has been granted accreditations by the Ministry of National Defence.

OTHER FOR DEFENCE

The Łukasiewicz Research Network – Automotive Industry Institute as a provider of services for state defences has a NATO Commercial and Government Entity Code (NCAGE Code), granted to businesses within the NATO Codification System (NCS).
