The Laboratory carries out research work with regard to:
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of:
- Automotive vehicles, wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors, and motor vehicles having two or three wheels;
- Electrical and electronic equipment used in the vehicles mentioned above;
Electrical and electronic equipment, including:
- Anti-theft devices, such as alarm, vehicle location, and immobiliser systems;
- Electrical and electronic equipment supplied with power from a cigarette lighter socket;
- Electrical systems of motor vehicles;
- Anti-theft devices for motor vehicles with handlebars;
- Armoured bank vehicles and cash carrying vehicles;
- Evaluation of the effectiveness of vehicle anti-theft protection systems;
- Developing of new research and measuring techniques;
- Internal and external noise generated by automotive vehicles, motorcycles, and mopeds;
- Noise emitted to the environment;
- Noise and mechanical vibrations having an impact on the human body;
- Vibro-acoustic performance of deadening materials;
- Exhaust systems and silencers;
- Warning acoustic signals of automotive vehicles;
- Agricultural or forestry tractor driver seats.
